2015 Wedding Trends

Spring 2015 comes to us with amazing and beautiful new renditions of the Wedding gown and Bridesmaids gown!  The trend definitely appeared to be:

Soft, romantic, modern vintage, and heavily beaded was definitely in the air at bridal market this season.

30's Glam was the most outstanding and common feature that we noted at market for spring 2015.  Slim and sparkling, billowing and sparkling:  glitz accompanied glam with breath taking drama.

It's all about that back!  Many gowns featured breath taking plunging or illusion covered,  lace, beaded, closed, and cut out: but the detail was definitely focusing on the backs.

New colors are everywhere for bridal.  Powder Blue, Soft Silver, Mint Green, Blush Pink, Light Gold, Champagne:  pastels are everywhere.  While we stayed conservative, we do have a few gowns of color that will be arriving for spring 2015.

Tulle is back!  Full, princess ball gowns are featured by nearly every designer!  But not all are 'just' a ball gown.  Many feature soft delicately thin layers, voluminous and full layers, some with edging or horse hair added, beading frosted with tulle, layered over lace or detachable:  all to give added dimension

Jackets that look like sleeves:  so many amazing ways to add
sleeves to that strapless gown for what ever the reason may be beyond the fact that it just looks beautiful and is flattering.
Also a great way to update a strapless gown.  Coverlets, capes
and jackets in tulle, lace and in a variety of other mediums are
also on the list of the must haves for the 2015 bride.

Many gowns featured higher necklines than we have been seeing over the last 1.5 decade!  The wedding band collar made a come back along with peter pan and boat necklines are all very popular.
Casual, beach, informal, chic, bare mid-drifts, plunging necklines and completely out side of the box styling were a common theme.  As is also modern and minimalism with tailored clean lines featured on many amazing gowns.

Belts are huge again this season.  From small, delicate and beaded to big, bold and bling:  belts are a great way to change and personalize your wedding gown.

One thing is for sure:  2015 is going to be a very exciting season!
